10am - Virtual Storytime
Join us via Zoom for a special storytime with Miss Katie! Recommended for ages 2-6, but everyone is welcome! Please register for this event. Those who register will be emailed the link to our Zoom meeting space. Registration is required.
2:30pm -Kids Art Party
Watch a premiere of our slideshow featuring all of the #ChalkYourWalk Weekly Pop-up Challenge Submissions and then join us for a book character drawing game! Registration is required.
4pm - Children's Authors Book Talk
Listen to our children's tent authors each present a short book talk about their most recent works. Authors specialize in picture books, board books, and chapter books. With special guest host, Jennifer Black from Usborne Publishing. Registration is required.

4pm - Adult Authors Book Talk
Listen to our adult tent authors each present a short book talk about their most recent works. Genres include fantasy, YA, romance, and thrillers! With special guest host, local author, Cate Fricke. Registration is required.
8pm - Drink & Draw
Settle in for an hour of drawing and camaraderie with Pennsylvania comic book artists: areyoshi, Kara Ballenger, Robert Hack, Jason Lenox, and Chris Ring. With experience working for large companies and on their own projects, they will be on hand to answer questions and draw with you. Pick their brains on topics such as kickstarters, commissions, and more. Grab your favorite beverage, sketchbook, and pencils. We'll have two images to get you drawing. With special guest host, Joe Figured, from Isle of Comics. Registration is required.

Show off your creative flair in the first ever BookFestPA Virtual Costume Contest, sponsored by Setsucon. Let's celebrate our favorite fandoms by showing off costumes of the characters we love. Join us by entering into our Costume Contest using the form below for a chance to be crowned the 2020 Champion!

7-8pm - Lisa Scottoline & Francesca Serritella
Lisa Scottoline returns (virtually) to State College in honor of the 10th anniversary of BookFest PA. She brings with her, daughter and debut novelist, Francesca Serritella. Mother and daughter will discuss writing, relationships, and their newest books, Someone Knows, and Ghosts of Harvard.
Moderated by Ms. Katie O'Toole, lecturer with the Penn State Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.
