Information for Applicants
This event is held annually on Library grounds on the Saturday of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts which always runs Wednesday through Sunday.
Future dates are Saturdays: July 12, 2025, July 11, 2026, and July 17, 2027.
The application is typically sent out in February/March, with acceptance notifications in April/May.
Guidelines:
___ Authors/illustrators/vendors/publishers will be accepted this year. Genre representation will be curated to offer a broad visitor experience.
Please plan to supply your own table (6' or 8'), chair(s), and pop-up tent (no larger than 10'x10').
Staff/volunteers will be available to watch tents for 10-15 min. breaks, though will not be permitted to perform sales.
Having another adult with you is recommended to help out as it becomes a long day.
Snacks, drinks, and lunch will not be provided. We recommend the festival and local food vendors when you're looking for a snack or lunch. Water bottle filling stations are available on the 1st and 2nd floors of the library.
A dedicated professional website is required. Social media pages and online commercial pages (ie. Amazon, etc.) will not be counted as such.
Priority will be given to applicants in the Centre County area and the surrounding counties.
Locations for tables are on a first come, first serve basis - in the above-ground parking lot or underground garage.
Cost: $60 per space.
Day Of:
Unfortunately, there are not enough spots in the lot to leave your cars on Saturday. Please note that parking is available in Fraser, Beaver, and Pugh Street garages. The earlier you arrive, the easier it will be to find parking.
WiFi is available in the lot.
